Christmas Jumper Day
January 22, 2024Digital marketing agency Foster & Scott has doubled its office footprint in Sheffield following its expansion during lockdown with new recruits and clients.
Founded in 2011 by Carl Foster and Gareth Scott, the business has maintained consistent growth over the years to meet the needs of a national and international client base which spans the leisure and tourism, manufacturing, logistics and public sectors.
With more companies expanding their online presence as a result of the pandemic, the agency is now embarking on a recruitment drive for roles in its sales, design and development teams in order to meet growing demand.
To accommodate its growing team the full-service creative agency, which specialises in branding, websites and digital marketing, has secured larger premises within the Business Centre at the Sheffield Business Park which has been its base over the past 10 years.
Carl Foster said the business is committed to maintaining its office presence which is an “essential” ingredient in ensuring its team can share creative ideas and in how it approaches client briefs.
He added: “It has been an extremely busy 18 months for the business, as existing and new customers look to increase or maximise their digital presence in response to a surge in online activity as a result of the pandemic.
“While some of our clients were impacted by the restrictions, many others saw demand for their services or products boom and so we have been flat out creating and delivering on creative campaigns across a wide range of sectors.”
“As a result, we have already welcomed a new member of staff to the team, and we are looking to further recruit over the coming months.”
He said while the business adapted to home working in line with Government guidance, bringing its staff together remains essential for creative projects, so it is important for the agency to have an office in a location that is easily accessible.
“Sheffield Business Park is perfect for that, and we are delighted that we have been able to secure an additional space within the Business Centre that can also accommodate us as we continue to grow our team,” he said.
The business park is already home to more than 2,000 workers, as well as state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Factory 2050, and the Boeing Factory.
Sheffield Business Park manager, Dawn Kennedy-Burns, said: “Foster & Scott has been a long-standing occupier of the Sheffield Business Park’s Business Centre, and it has been fantastic to watch the company grow both its team and its client base in recent years.
“We know it is important for the business to have a physical office space where staff can collaborate on projects and work together to deliver on the needs of its impressive customer portfolio – including a number of fellow business park tenants.”
