Sheffield Business Park makes the news
ITV Yorkshire has put Sheffield Business Park at the heart of its newsgathering operation in South Yorkshire.
The broadcaster has transferred its Calendar regional newsroom from Sheffield city centre to the park’s business centre.
The new location is proving the perfect base for the team of five journalists and technical staff. Calendar’s editor Will Venters said: “Sheffield Business Park is ideal because of its transport links.
“If there is a story breaking anywhere in South Yorkshire we can get there quickly. The move is helping us to maintain a good service for our viewers across the region.”
For Sheffield Business Park manager Rebecca Wyatt, ITV Yorkshire’s feedback is further evidence of the development’s unrivalled assets.
“Like many of our other occupiers, Calendar are finding our location second to none,” she says. “We are minutes from the Sheffield Parkway and the M1 at Junction 33, providing us with excellent access to the region’s transport links.
“Little wonder that so many businesses have chosen us as the location for their headquarters operations. Over recent years we have attracted the likes of Stanley Tools, Fujitsu Siemens and SIG.”
