Gleeson extends regional HQ at Sheffield Business Park
Housing developer Gleeson has doubled the size of its regional headquarters at Sheffield Business Park.
Gleeson Regeneration, a division of the MJ Gleeson Group, took 4,000 sq ft of space on the park’s Europa Court complex last spring. Now the company has leased the remaining space in the unit with the transfer of Gleeson Homes’ operations from Chapeltown.
The company, which has merged to become Gleeson Homes and Regeneration, now employs around 36 staff at Europa Court, with scope for further expansion.
“Our existing offices will accommodate any growth over the next couple of years. At that stage we may well be looking for larger premises – but we plan to stay at Sheffield Business Park,” says Gleeson Homes and Regeneration North East Region Operations Director Chris Harris.
“The park is a perfect base for us, offering great transport links for our area of operation, which extends from Sheffield to the other side of the M62 and from Milton Keynes up to Humberside.”
Gleeson’s commitment to a long-term presence has been welcomed by Sheffield Business Park Manager Rebecca Wyatt.
“Our location is a significant asset for our occupiers and with 200 acres of prime development land, we have the capacity to provide whatever accommodation they require – designed and built to their requirements within six months,” she says.
