A high-tech business which is winning new clients across the country has opened a new headquarters at Sheffield Business Park.
Clarity Information Solutions Ltd, which provides content management services to clients including many UK police forces, has moved its 10-strong team from Rotherham town centre to the park’s Sheffield Business Centre.
The company has just landed a contract with the Police Federation to supply a new website and secure extranet for use by federation representatives in all the police forces of England and Wales.
Clarity also manages the production, capture, and storage of paper and online information including emails and web content. Its system for the integrated processing of offence documentation is used by an increasing number of forces.
Management chose Sheffield Business Centre for their new base after a thorough review of alternative locations in the area.
“We considered quite a few options but from the point of view of cost and flexibility, the business centre is ideal,” said sales and marketing director Bill Duke.
“We use facilities like the conference room quite a lot and the centre provides a high-quality environment when we host our clients. It’s also a very pleasant working environment – the café is great and the staff here are very friendly.”
Sheffield Business Park’s location just off Junction 33 of the M1 was also an important factor, said Bill: “It’s very easy to reach for our clients and its convenient for our staff, who travel from Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster.”
“We moved here primarily for business reasons, but the team is very glad that we did. It’s a win-win situation.”
Sheffield Business Centre provides a range of serviced office accommodation, with flexible rental options that have been designed to assist growing businesses.
