The transport section provides information on all forms of travel options including; buses, trains, cycling routes into the Park, as well as car-sharing and other options which help to manage on-site parking.

Framework Travel Plan
SBP has liaised closely with Sheffield City Council to produce and develop a Framework Travel Plan to provide all occupiers with up to date information on all travel options available and to encourage employers to use more sustainable methods of transport.

SBP Car Share Scheme
Car Sharing is when two or more people share their journey to work. It's easy and flexible and offers a simple way to reduce fuel costs and the need for parking, cut congestion and pollution, as well as the stress of driving too.
Now all employees working on the park can join the SBP Car Share Scheme to find other employees with the same or similiar journey to work. The benefits of car sharing include;

Car Share
  • Save money - half price petrol
  • Reduce congestion
  • Easier to park - less cars = more parking spaces
  • Meet new contacts - potential business networking opportunities

The process is simple - just register your details on the SBP Car Share Scheme, add your journey information and the system will find a match for you.

Public Transport
There are two bus routes which service the park, with 10 bus stops located throughout the park. For timetable information, please click here. For details of the bus stop locations, please refer to the SBP Masterplan.
The A1 Shuttle Service runs every 30 minutes connecting the business park to Meadowhall, Rotherham and Sheffield transport interchanges. The service is also supported by occupiers both on and off the park in return for a varierty of benefits including; an enhanced public profile, specialist travel advice and PR opportunities. If you would like to become involved with the A1 Shuttle Partnership, please contact the Business & Communities Advice Team at the SYPTE on 0114 2211221 or email A1Shuttle@sypte.co.uk

Cycling
All new buildings on the park provide cycle racks and showering facilities to allow cyclists to secure their cycles safely and freshen up. The roads providing access to the business park are generally lightly trafficked with a 40mph speed limit, making the roads suitable for use by cyclists to link into the cycle routes close by. The section of cycle track along Europa Link forms part of the National Cycle Network and Trans Pennine Trail with a continuous link into Sheffield City Centre and cycling and walking maps for Sheffield and Rotherham are available on request from the Management Suite.

The business park also has its own Walking Group, which meets on a regular basis and leads to the nearby Blue Bell woods and Amenity Hill.

Supertram
The nearest tram stop to the business park is the Valley Centertainment tram stop, approximately a 10 minute walk away, and is ideal to link in with the Park & Ride scheme at Meadowhall or Sheffield City Centre.
